Panel 1: The halfling Frank Iero walks home from school, wearing borrowed clothes he found when his stuff was stolen. And he meets Gerard Way for the first time.

Panel 2a & 2b: After being wrongfully accused of turning someone in a vampire, Frank leaves his friends and walks home by himself during midday. He nearly dies from prolonged sun exposure, but manages to escape into one of the shelters to wait and heal.
